Final Call for Sea Base 2027

This is the final call for signing up for Sea Base 2027. If you have not already filled out the contact information Google Form, please do ASAP. The link is below. Also below is some general information regarding the trip. Registration opens on the 15th and the troop needs a firm headcount.

Troop 17 has elected to go on the Coral Reef Sailing Adventure 
<br><br>
           We will have more than one crew.

Some activities are 12+ with parent strongly suggested, all are 13+

Scout Requirements to Attend

Registered member of Scouts 
<br><br>
12-13 years of age (12 with parent)
<br><br>
Scouting America Swim Test 
<br><br>
Pass Medical Check (Standard Form Troop 17)
<br><br>
Adult Requirement to Attend 
<br><br>
        Registered in a Scout unit
<br><br>
21 Years or older
<br><br>
Passed Swim Test
<br><br>
Meets Sea Base Medial Requirements
<br><br>
Meets Scouting Height and Weight, not to exceed 295lbs
<br><br>
Complete Safeguarding Youth Training 
<br><br>
Complete Safety Afloat Training
<br><br>
Completed Safe Swim Defense Training 
<br><br>
Completed Hazardous Weather Training 
<br><br>
CPR/AED (Troop 17 suggests all adults)
<br><br>
Wilderness First Aid Certification (Troop 17 suggests all adults)

Registration opens January 15th, 2026!!!!

2027 Deposit to troop will be $250/ participant due 12/31/25
<br><br>
This covers Deposit to Sea Base and Second Payment 
<br><br>
The third payment will be due to the troop October 1, 2025 ($1,125/person)
<br><br>
Final Payment will be due to troop March 1 2027 ($1,125/person)
<br><br>
